Chris Brown vs Drake: Young, rich, famous & Ignorant

Street Cred: The mindset of establishing urban authenticity emerged with the genre of gansta rap. Not wanting to be labelled microphone wankstas, i.e. soft, many rappers that spit hard lyrics felt compelled to walk the talk by living the thug life they portrayed on wax.

Take for example, legendary rapper Tupac once famously stated: I didn't have a record (criminal) until I made a record.

Fast forward: Now this dangerous and foolish mentality has infected the R&B music genre as well. Witness the mindless bottle tossing melee in a NYC club that left many hurt -- including NBA star Tony Parker -- with injuries from flying glass projectiles.

The beef: Tatted up R&B singer Chris Brown and R&B rapper Drake have been feuding via Twitter for a minute. Some say it's over pop sensation Rihanna and some say it's because Chris Brown is jealous over the emerging success of Drake.

Who knows and who cares!

The mere fact that this Thug Life mindset has two soft a$$ Drake Cupcakes -- I couldn't resist the obvious -- wimps trying to go hard like they from the hood is absurd. I call them soft because:

1. Their minds are as soft as silly putty if they think this is what being hard is about; and
2. As big mamma stated: a hard head makes a soft behind -- not being able to heed responsible advise, both these immature boys are about to get spanked legally and financially.

BTW, the object of both boys affections finds if all funny:

Rihanna "got text messages from everybody telling her what happened right after it went down," the source explains. "She just laughed. She's spoken to both of them and just thinks it's crazy. She's glad she wasn't there though!" source

Oh another day in the pseudo hood life.

Chris Brown has posted a picture of a nasty gash on his chin - apparently sustained from a nightclub  brawl with rapper Drake and his entourage in New York.

Brown allegedly flew into a rage after Drake taunted him by returning a bottle of champagne he'd sent over as 'peace offering' with a note reading:  'I'm f****** the love of your life, deal with it'.
Drakes crude response was clearly a reference to Brown's ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

According to website Global Grind Chris reportedly flew into a rage and confronted Drake.
Drake allegedly threw a punch but before the singer could retaliate, another man hit Brown in the face with a bottle.

A source told the New York Post: 'They were on opposite sides of the room, Drake went over to the middle of the club to talk to someone, then words were exchanged with Chris and his entourage.
The source said someone from Drake's entourage, possibly the singer himself, threw a bottle.
'Once the bottle was thrown, all hell broke loose and there were more bottles thrown.'  Read more
