AGAIN?! WTF: 27 Dead, Including 20 Children, In Elementary School Shooting

Is this our new norm? I mean really, we can't do better? After all, we already accept nightly/daily killings on our inner city streets:

"That's what those people of color do. Why restrict my right to own an assault rifle?"

Now, apparently, we accept the four time a year mass shootings as the price to pay to allow citizens the right to have high powered killing machines. Now we accept nuts going into our schools and hunting five year old kids.

Why? Because our spineless congress fears the NRA. Why?  Because Joey Six-Pack has been ginned up to believe "Obama wants my gun so he can impose radical sharia law and socialism." Yes, good ole miltia loving Joey in his state of paranoia -- paranoia created by gun companies to sure up sales -- has the rest of us looking over our shoulders for the next psychopath du jour with WMD in his (yes his, name the last woman that has sprayed down innocent and unarmed kids) hands.

In the mall, movie theater, public school, church, train, bus, college campus, high way: It doesn't matter, human hunters armed to the teeth are stalking. But I am tired, no, we are collectively tired of this insane BS. I don't want to hear the empty NRA rhetoric: Guns don't kill people, people kill people. No, as Matt Driscoll expressed:

Guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people.

And:

Nowhere in the Constitution does it guarantee a person the right to shoot up an elementary school. While it's may be factually accurate to say the shooter - preliminarily identified as Ryan Lanza - was responsible for the massacre, and not the gun(s) he carried, that logic defies the reality of the situation in our country.

The reality is guns are too easy to get and it's long past time we did something about it.
The reality is guns are easier to get than mental health treatment, and it's long past time we did something about it.
The reality is our American culture is obsessed with violence, and it's long past time we did something about it. read more
I am writing congress and signing petitions. What are you doing?

Watch Piers Morgan express the outrage we both share.
