Update: The Fox fake war on Christmas 2013

Right Wing Propaganda
It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you "Be of good cheer"
It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
It's the hap -happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings

For most American families, the Christmas season represents the most joyous time of the year. It's a time families and friends come together to pay homage to the birth of baby Jesus. The celebration includes parties, prayers, feasts, gifts and good cheer.

A new Christmas tradition, thanks to our friends at Fox News Nation and their continued desire to divide and conquer, is the annual recycling of the War on Christmas.

Our friends at Fox never miss an opportunity to slander Non-Fox folks, in true Scrooge fashion, have once again declared the War on Christmas is upon us:

Once again this holiday season, the right to celebrate Christmas is under attack. Click the icons on the map to see where the latest challenges to religious freedom are taking place.

If it's happening in your community, let us know by
submitting your story. UREPORT: War On Christmas

And for a fee of $24.99 (my guess) you can buy a book on how the boogie man (liberals) have dastardly conspired to destroy Christmas:

The War on Christmas: How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday is Worse Than You Thought by John Gibson.

Or, Sarah Palin's:

Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas, with a collection of family recipes—starting with Christmoose Chili.

Eggnog laced with Kool-Aid for everybody!

Not to join company with the far-right's charges of War on Christmas, I agree that their existed a plan to undermine the true meaning of Christmas. But in my humble opinion, I believe this plan was firmly rooted in commercialism.

In true capitalism fervor (or greed), the true meaning of Christmas morphed into the season to buy, buy, buy; or shop, shop, shop. Americans have been psyched and hypnotized into believing Christmas is that time to get that new toy, play station, outfit, car, TV, jewelry item etc.

To me the following represents the true War On Christmas:
Christmas Mob

Several people have been hurt in brawls that erupted across the country as bargain hunters flooded stores for a jump-start to Black Friday.

More than a dozen retailers opened their doors earlier than ever on Thursday as most Americans were digesting their Thanksgiving dinners.

The violence included one man who was stabbed after a spat over a parking space at a Virginia Walmart shortly before 7 p.m., WVVA-TV reported.

In Chicago, a police officer shot an alleged shoplifter who was trying to flee in a car that was dragging another officer.

Videos posted online showed several chaotic scenes that included wild arrests and fights between shoppers. source

What happened to baby Jesus?
