Chris Rock Has No Real Interest In Talking With Will Smith, Sources Say

 

Will Smith may have released an apology video over slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars in March, but any chances of telling the comedian he’s sorry in person seem very unlikely at this point.

“So I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you,” Smith said in the video. “My behavior was unacceptable, and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.”

Sources told People.com that Rock has reportedly “moved on” from the televised incident and has no reason to discuss it with Smith.

“Chris doesn’t need to talk,” one insider told People.com. “This is clearly something that bothers Will more than Chris. Will needs to deal with his issues. Chris is fine.” source

Inappropriate behavior pre-Oscar Slap

I remember being grossed out and embarrassed for the Smiths -- Will and Jada -- months before the slap. They constantly overshared profoundly personal and intimate details about their life, marriage, and family.

And that dreadful Red Table Talk seemed to drain Will's dignity and integrity. Remember the Entanglement? Jada seemed to relish revealing the details of her open "marriage" affair with her son's friend. Eww.

They were issued an Internet cease and desist via an online petition begging them to stop oversharing or just go away.

Sunken Place -- Get Out

No doubt (and no excuse), by the night of the Oscars, Will was in a Sunkin Place. And after one side-eyed by Big Mama, Will knew what he had to do. The rest is history.
